How to install hat spacers and shrink your Panama
When I ship a Panama across the globe, I typically ship a slightly larger hat to allow for shrinkage. Included with your hat is a little packet of foam hat spacers. You need to install these spacers to get your fit just right.
This video runs through the process of installing those spacers, to get a perfect fit. It is worth the effort, and you will not notice the pads as they are very thin.
When your hat feels a little tight you simply pull a pad out, then all is well again. After a while it will stabilize and not shrink any more. It is simple, easy and it works beautifully.
