How we ship Panama hats
For the past 15 years we have been shipping our Panamas all over the world. In the process we have become very good at it -
* getting the sizing right & double checking
* packaging for rough postal services (ie USA & Africa)
* helping with styling and choosing the right hat
Have a look here and see how we do it.

Could/would you please tell me what it would cost to ship one of your Men’s Travel series hats to Hawaii. I’m not leaving until the end of December so I don’t need expedited shipping. Mahalo!

Hi Paul
Typically in costs around $20 to the USA – but is surprisingly reasonable If you put your hat in your cart, and go to checkout it will tell you the actual cost prior to ordering. Then you can choose what you like.

Would like to purchase the Casablanca Fedora. Do you ship to Canada? What time frame to arrive?

Truffaux Hatmakers replied:
Hi Mike
I ship there all the time – typically it is two weeks, but express will cut it down to 8-10 days

Love the channel. How long/much to ship to Spain? Would love to order but am afraid of the customs nightmare here in Spain. How do you deal with VAT?

Dear sir/madam,
I hope I won’ t offend you with this question..I live in the Netherlands and I wonder If it would be possible to order a packet of spacers? I hear you saying : start buying a hat first and you will get them for free.If all customers would do this I’ll be out of business in no time. The truth is I already have three Panama hats.None of them fits me as I would like them to do
Here in the Netherlands you can only get the ones made of cork( the spacers) I mean.
I know that words come easy ,but my next hat will come out of one of your stores.
If you can fulfill my request.Great! If not ,I fully understand.
kind Regards,

Truffaux Hatmakers replied:
HI Jan – we use window sealing foam rolls and cut it into short pieces so we can accurately adjust the sizing. If you go to any hardware shop, you can buy a roll of them for $5. Typically we use 19mm wide by 6mm deep and they do an excellent job. Avoid the rubber ones, and make sure you use the foam ones. If that is not possible, get back to me and I will fill an envelope with them and mail you some.

What is the difference between the Panama Traveler Hat and the Traveler Sun Hat ? Besides the price! Lol

Truffaux Hatmakers replied:
The Sun Hat has an 8cm brim – rather wide – and the Fedora is 6cm which is standard width.
