For my first hat I wanted to prioritize versatility and simplicity, and the Rambler fit the bill nicely. The hat I received is just as pictured and described on the website. After wearing it daily for more than a week on a recent trip, I can confirm the quality is superb, it's comfortable to wear, and does a decent job of shielding my face and ears from the sun. I would happily buy this model again.

In general, I like the Australian style hats. The Rambler fits that description but has the added features I was looking for. The crown has a lower profile and the brim is not as wide, 7cm, and yet, provides full coverage from the sun. The 7mm leather band really adds to the classy design of the hat. Great hat for hiking or any outdoor activities. Shipping was very fast and the packaging does a great job protecting your purchase, it can even survive US Postal handling!
